The background is removed from the pictures, which makes it possible to use the pictures for various marketing purposes. This means that a background can be used on multiple packshots.
Clipping paths is tedious and manual work, and there is no reason to pay expensive salaries to european suppliers for this routinework.
We can achieve good prices at asian suppliers which are cheap because we normally send relatively large batches of pictures every once in a while. Our experience is that the quality of their work is rock solid.
The price and delivery time for clipping paths vary with the number and complexity of the pictures. We can handle orders down to 100 and up to over 10.000 pictures per batch. The delivery time depends on the size of the batch and how long in advance the order is planned. Smaller batches are usually delivered in the same week as Stepfo receive the pictures. Small quantities can also be delivered overnight on request.
Removal of unwanted details
Even though the products are always styled before photography it is unavoidable that there sometimes will arrive a product that can't be "shined up" to sell the product the best way possible. Stepfo offers to edit and remove unwanted details like scrathmarks, dents, reflections and miscolorations in pictures.
Dropshadow
There can easily be added a shadow on clipped pictures. With Stepfos automatic procedures for adding shadows you can be sure to have identical results on a number of pictures, which by the end of the day makes your products look more consistant. Reflections
Sometimes it can give products an exclusive touch if there's a reflection in the surface the product is standing on. Stepfo offers this effect on both 2D and 3D pictures.
Color adjustment
Products in pictures can be re-colored, if they have a simple color variation. This can in some cases reduce the cost of having products photographed by us, because 5 differently colored t-shirts don't need to be photographed - only one photoshoot is needed, and the rest can be recolored.
